Emmanouil (Manos) Perakakis is a full-time Application Professor at the Department Business Administration at the TEI of Crete where he teaches courses in web design and development, social networks, e-marketing and graphic design and also a member of the e-Business Intelligence Lab (www.e-bi.gr).

He holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from the University of Essex and an MSc in Advanced Computing (Internet Technologies and Multimedia) from the University of Bristol. Since 2011 he is a part-time PhD student at Brunel University researching UX web design for the internet connected TV.

Mr Perakakis has also extended experience in the Computing and digital Marketing industry with participation to many applied projects as web designer, software/web developer, project manager and digital marketing consultant.

His research interests include Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Usability, digital Marketing, Social Media and Internet connected TV.
